QA Tester (Web Applications)

We are looking for a QA Tester to join our growing team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our web applications. If you have a strong eye for detail, love breaking things (the right way), and enjoy working in fast-paced Agile environments, this role is for you. Role Overview As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and overall system quality before release. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify issues early and help deliver high-quality products. Key Responsibilities Review requirements and create detailed test cases Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing Test web applications across different browsers and devices Identify, document, and track bugs using a defect tracking tool Collaborate with developers to verify fixes and improvements Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, etc.) Ensure overall product quality before deployment Required Skills & Experience Experience in QA Testing (manual testing focus) Strong understanding of web application testing Experience in writing clear and structured test cases Knowledge of defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology Experience in regression and functional testing Nice to Have Experience in API testing Exposure to automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, etc.) Experience in fintech or transaction-based systems Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android) Basic understanding of performance testing What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail Structured and analytical thinking Good communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team Proactive mindset in identifying risks and issues How to Apply - Provide your resumé and portfolio links - Subject line: Maverick – [Your Name]
